overnight summer camp program

Overnight Camp at Camp Linwood MacDonald provides endless opportunities to try new things, build & strengthen friendships, reach for new goals, and become more caring, responsible, respectful and honest.  The effects of COVID-19 - illness and loss of many we love; isolation; uncertainty of the future and lack of social engagement has increased the need for children and teens to have opportunities to safely interact with peers and caring adult role models; get out of doors to breathe clean, clear mountain air; be physically active and reduce stress.

Our pristine natural environment feeds our sense of wonder as we swim in crystal clear waters, gaze at the star filled night sky, trek through mountain forests, run and jump through seemingly endless grassy fields, and learn about the animals and plants that share our environment.

Overnight Camp combines traditional camp FUN, Friendship Building and Adventure with best practices in hygiene and sanitation to mitigate transmission of COVID-19 and/or other communicable diseases.

We pack so much FUN into each and every minute - our campers never want to leave!

We enjoy canoeing, kayaking, row boating, fishing, pond ecology, zip line, swimming, arts & crafts, woodworking, board games, basketball, 4-square, GAGA Ball, soccer, field games, volleyball, Camp Newspaper, music, dance, tetherball, climbing tower, low ropes, team building, archery, forest ecology, gardening, outdoor cooking, orienteering, survival, horse shoes, nature discovery, birding – WHEW!

Wait, there’s more – skits, songs, devotions, star gazing, dance, S’mores, campfires, and special themed activities to name just a few!
